If you are a history buff, step back in time and visit the birthplace of James K. Polk, our 11th president. Although his actual home is no longer standing, another cabin from the same time period now represents the former president’s home. 

The site has been developed into a historic site complete with two additional buildings that have been furnished appropriately for the time period. Nature trails, tours, and exhibits are also present.
