COMPLETE PHYSICAL EXAMS

We offer routine wellness visits as well as school and sports physicals for preventive medical care. Physical exams are a way of checking and monitoring your general wellness. During this appointment, you can expect a head-to-toe examination and assessment of your medical history. Your physician assesses your physical condition and vitals such as your blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.

IV ANTIBIOTICS

IV antibiotics are only administered by a medical professional. IV medication may be used to treat bacterial infections or infectious diseases, especially those that are resistant to oral medications. IV antibiotics are not used for the common cold or flu but are reserved for moderate to severe bacterial illnesses. Usually, this medication is given in our Pineville medical center, but in some cases, it may be given in your home.

ALLERGY TESTING

Allergy testing is available onsite. We also do serum allergy testing. This is a skin prick test to identify allergies to pollen, mold, pet dander, dust mites, and foods.

VASCULAR / DOPPLER STUDIES

Vascular (Doppler) Studies are evaluated onsite. This is a non-invasive test that can measure the flow of blood in the arteries and veins to detect blockages, blood clots, varicose veins, and aneurysm.

EKG / STRESS TESTING

An EKG is a noninvasive test that measures the heart’s electrical activity and reflects underlying heart conditions. Stress testing is a test that measures the heart’s ability to respond to external stress in controlled clinical activity. Stress is induced by either exercise or by an intravenous pharmacological stimulator.

WELL WOMAN EXAM / PAP SMEARS / BREAST EXAMS

Our wellness exam for women includes pap smears and breast exams. We offer onsite mammogram, hormone replacement therapy for menopause, and loss of libido.

ECHOCARDIOGRAMS

An echocardiogram (echo) uses high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of your heart.

CONTINUING CARE OF DIABETES

Diabetes care includes self-management education, helps prevent acute complications, and reduces the risk of long-term complications.

GLUCOSE TESTING

For a glucose tolerance test, the patient must fast for the first blood sample and then drink a liquid containing a specified amount of glucose before the blood is tested again.

MALE EXAM

Onsite prostate evaluations are provided. We offer PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood test and erectile exams. We offer treatment for erectile dysfunction. We also treat testosterone deficiency.

BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING

With blood pressure monitoring, your blood pressure is measured as you move around doing your normal daily activities.

JOINT INJECTIONS

All joint injections and trigger point injections are done onsite. These include steroids and hyaluronic acid.
